Mothered/Mothering
I created this piece while trying to capture what it feels like for me to mother and be mothered.
Clouds of Hope
I created this piece after our family received a difficult diagnosis. The deep primary colors contrasted with the white feels hopeful to me, and is visually peaceful. This piece is a reminder to me that some days the mixes of color don’t seem cohesive, but the overriding thread of hope carries us through.
